NSCAC ADDS INTERNATIONALLY-RENOWNED COACH TO CLINIC, ANNOUNCES PRESENCE ON MAJOR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

March 22, 2017

The National Soccer Coaches Association of Canada (NSCAC) officially re-launched this month as a member-based organization providing soccer coaches across Canada with educational opportunities as well as many exclusive services and benefits.

The NSCAC today announced the name of the third clinician who will be added to its first official “Kickoff Clinic” to be held Saturday, May 6, in conjunction with York Region’s Thornhill Soccer Club. Kevin McGreskin, Technical Director of Burlington Youth SC, has been added to the free clinic, which also includes NSCAC Director of Coaching Kosmas Mouratidis and Soccer Fitness President Richard Bucciarelli

McGreskin, who holds a UEFA “A” License, is the former Technical Director of the Bahamas Football Association. Kevin has an impressive record of delivering clinics and workshops across the world to professional and semi-professional clubs, from Academy to First Team level, as well as being a staff coach and presenter on the prestigious UEFA Pro Licence and UEFA “A” Licence courses.

Kevin is also the founder of Soccer eyeQ, and is highly respected as one of the top field vision and game awareness specialists in soccer. His session at the May 6 clinic will, in fact, focus on developing vision and awareness in youth players. Click Here to Register

@TheNSCAC is new handle across all Social Media

The NSCAC has also established its presence on social media channels. Coaches across Canada can now follow the organization’s activities on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, using the handle @TheNSCAC. All three platforms will provide the latest membership news, coaching resources and information, as well as links to the official NSCAC website, nscac.ca.

Alf De Blasis, the NSCAC’s Director of Marketing and Communications, will oversee the curation of content for all the social media platforms, in collaboration with the US-based marketing and brand development agency, Amplified Soccer.

The expansion onto social media reaffirms the commitment the NSCAC has made to represent coaches at all levels of the game in Canada, from grassroots volunteer to full time professional, and to assist in the long-term development of coaches as instructors and role models for our players.
